About this piece

The Musical Fidelity A5 CD Player is a high-quality audiophile CD source designed to deliver detailed, smooth, and highly musical playback. Built as part of Musical Fidelity’s A5 series, it combines precision engineering with a refined analogue output stage to achieve a natural, engaging sound.

It features a 24-bit upsampling DAC that converts standard CD audio to a higher-resolution signal, improving clarity, timing, and soundstage depth. The robust disc transport ensures stable, accurate reading with low error rates, while the advanced digital architecture provides low distortion and wide dynamic range.

A key strength of the A5 is its analogue output stage, which adds warmth and richness to the sound without sacrificing detail or accuracy. This gives it a balanced character that blends technical precision with musical enjoyment.

Housed in a solid, well-damped chassis with a minimalist design, the A5 is built for long-term reliability and performance, making it an excellent choice for high-end audio systems.

Please note: Collection from our Murarrie showroom or freight at buyer's expense. We do not offer free shipping on traded equipment.
